CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) describes any business practice which is beneficial to society. It broadly encompasses environmental processes such as recycling, sustainable sourcing, and waste management; and humanitarian practices such as charitable work, ethical recruitment practices, and staff development. At Techniglaze, we are a forward-thinking company and employ both an internal and external CSR policy. We regularly work with large commercial enterprises and public-sector departments on commercial installation work. When working alongside other organisations, we aim to promote a positive culture which benefits all parties, and society in general. We regularly carry out audits of all our processes to ensure they are up to date with current industry regulations.

Aluminium: sustainable and recyclable

At our high-tech factory, we manufacture a wide range of aluminium products. We use completely sustainable and 100% recyclable extruded aluminium. Aluminium is one of the most environmentally friendly materials on the planet. By promoting the benefits of using aluminium in construction, we can help to increase its status as the preferred material of the construction industry. We use the latest machinery to fabricate our products so that they are cut with precision to reduce waste, further protecting the environment.

As you know we were concerned that they would look different and more “clunky” but really you can’t tell the difference except that the new ones are not falling apart!!! The guys who did the fitting were also good. They were working in freezing fog, really cold but they carried on regardless, they were extremely tidy and cleared up after themselves.

Serving the South West & the Home Counties

From our head office and factory in Radstock, Somerset, we install our glazing products across a wide geographical area. For domestic installations, we usually work within a 30-mile radius covering the nearby cities of Bath and Bristol and the neighbouring counties of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

For commercial work, we extend this radius to approximately 120 miles. We have completed commercial installations across the south of England including all the South West, the Home Counties, and Greater London.
