At Techniglaze, we install the Smart Wall thermal shopfront screen and door system from Smart Architectural Aluminium. The system is suitable for all types of ground floor treatment and is guaranteed to improve thermal performance. It is suitable for a wide range of applications but is particularly suited for installation in educational establishments.
Our aluminium shopfront systems are security tested to PAS 24: 2012 standards and feature anti-finger trap doors for safe opening functionality. They feature a drainable low threshold for easy wheelchair and pushchair access and incorporate polyamide thermal breaks into their design for the best in thermal efficiency levels. Smart Wall can be powder finished in a wide range of colours and can be dual colour finished inside and out.

Techniglaze aluminium shop fronts are compatible with any of our commercial glazing products. They are fitted with mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware from Alpro. Choose from a range of contemporary handle styles or specify a bespoke design for your hardware. For your shop entrance, Alpro provide a range of automatic entrance and exit options including keypads, switches, and electric strikes.
Techniglaze aluminium shop fronts are glazed with high-performance glass from either Pilkington, Guardian, or Saint Gobain. Each of these companies supply a wide range of glazing options including energy-efficient glass, self-cleaning glass, anti-condensation glass, and textured and obscure glass. All our glazing meets stringent Building Regulations requirements for security, safety, and energy efficiency.

We are delighted with the windows. As you know we were concerned that they would look different and more “clunky” but really you can’t tell the difference except that the new ones are not falling apart!!! The guys who did the fitting were also good. They were working in freezing fog, really cold but they carried on regardless, they were extremely tidy and cleared up after themselves.
