Both suppliers produce high-quality products which will improve your conservatory, orangery, or extension. We also use high-quality Smarts Alitherm and Aliver products. Every roof lantern we install has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that it is watertight and thermally efficient. Like with our windows, the glass of our roof lanterns achieves astoundingly low U-values. These measure the rate of thermal transmittance through a material. Techniglaze roof lanterns are glazed with high performance glass from either Pilkington, Guardian, or Saint Gobain. Each of these companies supply a wide range of glazing options including energy efficient glass, self-cleaning glass, anti-condensation glass, and textured and obscure glass. All our glazing meets stringent Building Regulations requirements for security, safety, and energy efficiency. The wide range of glazing options gives you the choice of a more transparent flat glass, which will allow a large amount of light to flood into your living space beautifully. However, if you’re after a more private glass tint, there are textured glass designs for you.

We are delighted with the windows. As you know we were concerned that they would look different and more “clunky” but really you can’t tell the difference except that the new ones are not falling apart!!! The guys who did the fitting were also good. They were working in freezing fog, really cold but they carried on regardless, they were extremely tidy and cleared up after themselves.
