Techniglaze aluminium windows are glazed with high-performance glass from either Pilkington, Guardian, or Saint Gobain. Each of these companies supply a wide range of glazing options including energy-efficient glass, self-cleaning glass, anti-condensation glass, and textured and obscure glass. All our glazing meets stringent Building Regulations requirements for security, safety, and energy efficiency.

Why aluminium is the perfect material for bespoke windows and doors
uPVC windows are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and require less maintenance. However, they may not be as long-lasting as aluminium windows. On the other hand, aluminium windows are durable, weather-resistant, and offer superior strength. However, they are more expensive and may not be as energy-efficient as uPVC windows. Ultimately, the choice between these two types of windows will depend on your personal preferences and requirements.
Installing aluminium windows is always more expensive than uPVC (on a like for like basis) because of higher material and manufacturing costs. But, in the long term, aluminium can prove very cost-effective because it’s a more robust material than uPVC.

We are delighted with the windows. As you know we were concerned that they would look different and more “clunky” but really you can’t tell the difference except that the new ones are not falling apart!!! The guys who did the fitting were also good. They were working in freezing fog, really cold but they carried on regardless, they were extremely tidy and cleared up after themselves.
